Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar: A Truly Unmatched Tasty Innovation

Zinburger is located in the Beverly Hills of the East -- Buckhead, Atlanta -- at Lenox Square. The great thing about this location is...
FREE parking!
The thought of getting something for the price of nothing is always satisfying.
As my friend and I sauntered up to the front door of Zinburger around 9:40 p.m., we were greeted by a larger than life cow, drinking a glass of wine, as it overlooked a calming fire pit that lit up the front of the restaurant.

Zen -- check.
The host, as dry as the Sauvignon Blanc Mr. Moo was sipping on, seated us immediately.
Naturally,  I googled, "requirements to be a host at Zinburger" and it read as follows:
  • HAPPILY, welcome and greet guests upon arrival

What a coincidence. The first bullet point was in fact the opposite of the service I received. But, can you truly blame the company for their under eager staff? It is all a part of the hiring hoax to present your best self at any job interview.

Zinburger was set to close 20 minutes after our arrival. Surprisingly this had no effect on the professionalism of our attentive and exceptionally effervescent waitress. Not only was she observant, but she possessed all the qualities of a truly great server:
  • Watchful -- check
  • Cordial -- check
  • High Energy -- check, check, check
  • Excellent Verbal Communication -- check
Our waitress kindly asked if we'd ever been to any of their establishments, before quickly reciting the special of the day and suggesting popular menu items.
Everything at Zinburger is specially made according to the customer’s specifications. We decided to order:
  • Clint’s “Almost Famous” Veggie Burger $9.50: Smoked Mozzarella Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Lettuce & Mayo (Make it Vegan … 86 the Bun, Mayo, Cheese & Sub a Green Salad)
  • Zinburger $11: Manchego Cheese, Zinfandel Braised Onions, Lettuce & Mayo
  • Zucchini Fries $6.50: Parmesan Cheese & Ranch Dressing
  • Double Truffle Fries $6.50: Truffle Aioli, Truffle Oil & Parmesan Cheese.
Unfortunately, Clint’s “Almost Famous” Veggie Burger was especially famous and completely sold out.  Instead, we ordered an “Almost Famous” turkey burger.
The uniqueness of Zinburger doesn't come from the décor or the burgers itself, but from my opinion, the sides.
Does anybody else feel like a bad side will ruin a good meal?
No, no, no, this isn’t some sad attempt to b-line Zinburger for their terrible choice in sides. Quite the contrary actually. The choices are endless, just look at their fry menu:
  • SPICY GREEN CHILI FRIES $7.00: Green Chili Cheese Sauce, Roasted Jalapeño, Chipotle Sauce, Cotija Cheese & Chives
  • Zucchini Fries $6.50: Parmesan Cheese & Ranch Dressing
  • Double Truffle Fries $6.50: Truffle Aioli, Truffle Oil & Parmesan Cheese
  • SWEET POTATO WAFFLE FRIES $6.00: Yogurt & Maple Dipping Sauces
  • HAND CUT FRIES $5.50
We could have tried them all, but instead we chose the zucchini fries and the double truffle fries and let me tell you, they were the highlight of our meal. The burgers were absolutely cooked to perfection, but let’s face it, a burger is just a burger.
I don't know about you, but I am an utter fry fanatic and a location with good fries will unquestionably keep me coming back for more.
Aside from burgers, Zinburger offers salads, milkshakes, pies, wine, beer, and cocktails. A fine-dining restaurant that truly has something for everyone.
Overall, if you want a perfectly cooked burger and some interesting new side choices, Zinburger is the place to go. Though it isn’t very first date friendly, unless you and your partner are comfortable with watching each other fight with a disturbingly jam-packed Zinburger and in that case, you two should definitely try this spot!
I give it a 9 out of 10!
